The Neles™ Model KA Knife Gate Valve is designed to ensure efficient operation and easy maintenance in demanding applications. Featuring a cone-shaped internal body, it provides greater space for solids, allowing for smooth and effective removal when the valve is closed. This unidirectional valve overcomes common challenges associated with counter-pressure. Unlike standard knife gate valves that risk gate bending, the Neles™ Model KA incorporates internal guides that support the gate, enabling operation under counter-pressure of up to 30% of the maximum working pressure without deformation. For enhanced maintenance efficiency, the valve includes a stem protection hood that is independent of the handwheel securing nut, allowing for quick disassembly without releasing the handwheel. This design facilitates regular maintenance tasks, such as lubricating the stem, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
